Fr. Fiorillo's quote of the week from In Sinu Jesu:

"Make Me the object of all your desires and you will never be disappointed. Seek Me and you will find Me. Ask for the grace of My presence in the inner sanctuary of your soul, and there hold conversation with Me, for I am in you, and you are in Me. I am your life, and apart from Me, all that this earthly life offers you is bitter and unable to satisfy your heart. I have created you and called you to live in My friendship and to long for Me on earth until that longing is satisfied in heaven." (p. 132)

In Sinu Jesu, Latin for "In the Heart of Jesus," is a journal of an anonymous American monk to whom Jesus spoke directly over the past decade. The simple words speak profoundly about Our Lord's burning desire to live in an intimate friendship with us, and about how easy it is for us all to experience His merciful love, most especially through His abiding presence in the Holy Eucharist. Copies of the book are available in the Collaborative Office at St. Brendan’s , or may be purchased on Amazon.com.

We will host discussion groups to share thoughts, reactions, and questions about the book beginning in

September.
